WHAT YOU WILL LEARN during Vicente's workshop:

The first day of the workshop is dedicated to exploring skies and seas, where participants will engage in a series of practical exercises. This initial phase aims to deepen understanding of essential watercolor techniques, composition theory, and effective color palette management.

Moving to the second day, our focus will shift exclusively to the Icelandic landscape, a subject that offers unparalleled richness for the watercolor artist. Participants will learn to capture the majesty of Icelandic seascapes and characteristic mountains, complemented by specific exercises to create realistic textures. This program is carefully structured to ensure a complete and deeply rewarding learning experience. Students will not only gain technical knowledge but also enjoy the creative process, discovering new ways of expression through watercolor. It is designed to stimulate both beginners and advanced artists to hone their craft and take their creative expression to new heights.

MATERIALS REQUIRED:

Large palette for mixing.

Paper: 300 gsm cotton Arches or Saunders Waterford

Brushes: Chinese flat brush "Hake brush", round brush like Escoda Perla.

Colors: Sepia, burnt sienna, cadmium orange, cobalt blue, cerulean, ultramarine, indigo, perylene green, indian yellow, leaf green, white.

And any other colors you have.
